These 9-inch rubber tarp straps, also called rubber bungees, are widely used by flatbed drivers to secure tarps over loads. One end hooks to the tarp while the other connects to the trailer, keeping the tarp tight and preventing flapping, tearing, or exposure to dirt, moisture, and road debris during transit.

Straps are measured from the inside edge of one S-hook to the inside edge of the other. While these rubber straps are excellent for holding tarps in place, they should not be relied on as the primary form of cargo securement.
