This 20’ x 27’ black parachute tarp with a 6’ x 8’ rear drop protects flatbed cargo from wind, sun, and light moisture. The center is made from 18 oz PVC-coated waterproof material rated for cold cracks down to -40°F/C. The sides are made from lightweight parachute-style nylon fabric that is water-resistant and makes the tarp easier to lift, move, and install.

Parachute tarps are up to 40% lighter than traditional 18 oz vinyl tarps. This makes them easier to handle for drivers, especially on shorter routes or when carrying multiple tarps. The tarp includes three rows of D-rings and brass grommets every two feet to secure it quickly and keep it tight over your load.

This tarp is ideal for drivers who want a lighter and easier-to-use option that still provides strong protection and quick installation. It reduces strain on the driver while keeping cargo safe from most weather conditions.

Note: Parachute tarps are ideal for areas with lower rainfall or lighter snow. The nylon sides are water-resistant but not fully waterproof, so standing water may eventually seep through if it sits on the tarp for an extended time. These tarps are not recommended for loads wider than 102 inches, as the nylon fabric may end up on top of the cargo, increasing the risk of water pooling and eventual seepage.
