Our 16’ x 27’ Heavy Duty Steel tarp is made from our heavy-duty 18 oz PVC tarpaulin that is cold crack rated to -40°F. Weighing 74 lbs, this tarp provides excellent protection against weather conditions ranging from rain, snow, ice, strong winds, and more. The heavy-duty 18 oz tarpaulin is fully waterproof and provides reliable protection by preventing moisture from reaching and damaging the cargo beneath.

Steel tarps work best for cargo that is low profile, such as steel, metal piping, or lumber, as it is specifically designed without a drop flap. This tarp has multiple rows of D-rings with reinforced backing to use rubber tarp straps to secure the tarp to the trailer safely.

D-rings are spaced 24 inches apart to help distribute the weight and to ensure an even and tight hold across the trailer. For complete coverage of a normal 50-foot or 53-foot flatbed trailer, two tarps will be required.
